II. Read the conversation and answer the questions below.
Lan: Well, this is my first visit to Ho Chi Minh City. I'm from a small village in the countryside. I feel a little lost.
Binh: I'm from the countryside too! And I understand. When I first came here, I also felt lost.
Lan: So, do you like living in the countryside or in the city?
Binh: I like living in the city more.
Lan: Why?
Binh: The city is exciting! It has more interesting things to do than in the countryside. And there are more jobs.
Lan: Well, there is more excitement in the city and there might be more jobs, too. But the countryside is closer to nature. The city isn't very beautiful, and it's noisy and dirty.
Binh: I disagree. I think all the different types of buildings in the city are beautiful. And I like to - watch all the different people.
Lan: That's another thing that is different. People in the countryside are friendlier. They always say hello. Here, no one says hello. I think city people are rude.
Binh: I agree that countryside people are friendlier. But I think city people aren't rude, they're just busy.
Where does Lan come from?
