One of the festivals I have participated in and liked the most is the Mid-Autumn Festival. There was one Mid-Autumn celebration that I still remember clearly. The village chief organized a festival for all the children. It was held at 4:30 PM on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month in nice and cool weather. We gathered at the nearby primary school.

The event started with an exciting lion dance, with the sound of drums spreading across the school. Next, there were fun games with small gifts for the winning team. After that, children lined up to receive mooncakes and lanterns. Once everyone received their gifts, they brought the mooncakes home, had dinner, and returned at 7:30 PM to join the lantern parade. The laughter of the happy children filled the air, making it a wonderful and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival.
