Hello, my name is John. I live in an apartment in New York, the USA. It is a
big city. It has got a lot of high buildings, supermarkets, banks and stores. There is
much traffic and there are often traffic jams at rush hours. It is very noisy here. But
I enjoy living here because everything is exciting and attractive to me.
Hi. My name is Kate. I am John's elder cousin. I live in a village in the
suburbs of Canberra, Australia. It is quieter than New York. It hasn't got many
shops, supermarkets or restaurants. There are some farms around my house. You
can see a lot of sheep and kangaroos on the farms. There are not many people, but
they are friendly. I prefer to live in the countryside because I enjoy the fresh air
and the peaceful life here.
