My most pleasant school experience was winning the school science fair in fifth
grade. My best friend, Sarah, and I worked together on a project about renewable energy.
We spent weeks researching and building a model wind turbine. When the day of the fair
arrived, we were so excited to present our project to the judges. We explained how our
turbine worked and how it could help to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels. The judges
were very impressed with our project and awarded us first place. I was so proud of Sarah
and myself. It was a great feeling to know that our hard work had paid off.
