* WRITING: write a paragraph about how people in your family share housework. You can use the
following questions as cues for your writing.
1. How many people are there in your family?
There are .... people / members in my family: ..., .... and I.
I live in a family of ...: ..., ... and I.

2. Are your family members busy? Why?
3. How do you split the housework in your family?
- We are all very busy. My parents ..., my brother and I both go to school / study all the time so we
split / share / divide the household chores / housework equally/fairly.
4. What household chores does each member of your family do?

Ex: my mother does the cooking and shops for groceries (mẹ tôi nấu ăn và mua hàng tạp hóa)

Ex: I am responsible for taking out the rubbish and cleaning the house.

Ex: My father's responsibilities are watering the plants and doing the heavy lifting.

Ex: My brother and I take turns doing the washing-up and doing the laundry.

6. What are the benefits of everyone in your family sharing the housework?
We do our share of housework/household chores/household duties willingly/happily
as/because/since we know that if everyone contributes/works together, the burden is less and everyone
can have some time to relax.
- All the members of my family enjoy the housework as we know that if everyone works together on
household chores, it creates a positive atmosphere for the family
