ferent birds. She always goes there on her bike. She wants to cycle even more, if possible,
because she needs to do more exercise. Carol likes reading a lot of books about birds and
looking at the pictures. She often sends her pictures to competitions. Last year she won
first prize in a national competition. She wants to travel to South America and Asia to see
lots of different birds, but she is afraid of flying.
Sergei
Sergei's family is very musical. His father plays the guitar and his brother
sings in a local rock band. Sergei likes to play the piano all the time and he
sometimes plays with his dad. He goes to many concerts around the country
with his brother. Sergei can't drive yet so he always travels by train. When
he is not playing the piano, he takes photos of lorries. If he can't be a musi-
cian when he is older, then he wants to be a lorry driver.
Dimitra
Dimitra loves to be outside all the time. If it's a nice weekend, she will put on her backpack
and travel by bus to the countryside. She loves walking a lot and she also follows rivers for
miles and miles. And she loves doing a lot of exercise every day. When it starts to get dark,
she tries to find a safe place to sleep in her tent and cook her dinner. She always takes her
MP3 player with her everywhere she goes because she loves music. When she is at home,
she has guitar lessons.
