warm part of the world. Because penguins do not live in places such as the North
Pole, they would never be around animals like polar bears and walruses.
Another little-known fact is that, very rarely, a brown penguin is born. Brown penguins are called
Isabelline penguins. Sadly, Isabelline penguins often do not live as long as black and white penguins. This is
because they can be seen easier by large sea animals such as the fur seals that eat penguins. Within their family
groups, brown penguins are sometimes not treated as well as normal black and white colored penguins.
