Overall, it is clear that there are 18 stages in the process, starting with growing tea plants in India and China ending with enjoying a cup of tea at home. First, the tea seeds are sown, and then the sun shines, which causes the seeds to grow into plants. Once the tea plants have grown, the leaves are then picked by farmers and put into baskets. After the picking stage, the tea leaves are dried in the sun. The tea leaves are packed into boxes and then they are loaded onto lorries, which take the boxes of tea to supermarkets. In order to make a cup of tea, shoppers buy a package of tea and bring it to their homes. Next, the kettle is filled with water and put onto a stove to boil. Once the tea bag has been put in the cup, boiling water is immediately poured into it. Having been left in the cup for two minutes, the tea bag is then removed, and the tea now is ready to drink. At this point, milk and sugar can be added to enhance the taste. Finally, people can enjoy their cup of tea. |
