                When Maggie’s mother was young she was a student, too.

She liked school and she learned a lot of interesting things about History, her favourite subject. In the morning she stayed at school till lunchtime and then she walked home.

                After lunch she helped her mother in the kitchen: she washed the dishes and she cleaned the floor. Then she studied for an hour. After that, she played with her friend Cindy in the garden and they talked a lot about their schoolmates.

                At 6 o’clock p.m. her father arrived home and she usually waited for him at the gate. Her father liked it very much. He travelled a lot and so he loved to be with his family.

                In the evening the family listened to the radio after dinner or talked about their day, except on special days when they danced a little in the local club. They had lots of fun.
