Every year until the 10th day of the third lunar month, people from all over the country come together to Viet Tri and Phu Tho to participate in the Hung Temple festival, also known as the death anniversary of the Hung Kings. My whole family is also in that atmosphere. The Hung Temple Festival lasts for four days from the 8th to the 11th day of the third lunar month, including two parts, the ceremony and the festival. The ceremony is celebrated very solemnly, offerings include pig's head, goat's head and cow's head, in addition, there are green chung cakes, colorful sticky rice and thick cakes. After the nuns and elders entered the ceremony, they came like people from all over the world to worship to show their respect and gratitude to King Hung and pray for good things for themselves. Next, the most fun to mention is the triumph. The palanquins are painted with gold paint, the palanquins wear a long scarf, or the costumes of the old mandarins look very special. If the procession of the king wins in this year's ceremony, next year it will be honored to attend the ceremony of the king to the Upper Temple to participate in the national ceremony. Looking far away, only seeing a group of people like ants with all kinds of costumes and different colors crowded to see the festival, everyone was happy and excited. Around the Hung Temple area, there are many chess opportunities with red, blue, purple, and yellow colors, making the atmosphere extremely explosive and enthusiastic. Because the number of people flocking here is expected to be very large, there is a work force to maintain security and order to ensure the festival takes place. Hung Temple Festival is a unique cultural feature of our nation, which should be preserved and promoted for generations to come.
