However, at weekends, I have much free time, so I usually spend it on relaxing to prepare for a coming busy week. First of all, in my free time, I like playing some sports, such as soccer, badminton or basketball, with my friends. Sport not only makes me stronger but also connects me with my friends who have the same hobbies. We sometimes go riding in order that we can combine sporting activity and sightseeing. If the weather is not fine enough for me to hang out with my friends, I like to read books. I have a big bookshelf with many kinds of books but I prefer science books.

Breaktime is coming! What do you guys usually do at this time?

The school I attend has a 30-minute recess session. During this time many activities take place. In the morning, when recess starts, it is also the time for mid-hour exercise music. All students in the school must gather in the schoolyard and exercise to the music. After it was over, with about 10 minutes remaining, everyone went back to the classroom and prepared for the next class.

Breaktime in the afternoon is more fun and exciting. The students go out of the yard and play many different games. The boys mainly play soccer, basketball, or badminton. And the girls play rope skipping or read to sit in the schoolyard braiding each other’s hair. Some of you go to the library to read books.

As for me, during recess, I often sit with my friends to talk. Sometimes I read a funny comic book.
