It’s normal to have an accent when we speak English. It’s OK – other people can usually understant us. It’s a good idea to listen to CDs or watch DVDs and try to (1) …….. other speakers to make your pronunciation better. (2) ……… you see a new word and you don’t know what it means, you can sometimes guess the meaning from words (3) ……… you know, or you can look the word (4) ……… in a dictionary. A lot of good English (5) ……… try not to translate things from their firts language. Translation is sometimes a good idea, but try to think in the foreign language if you can!
