The funny story with the Past Simple
It was Sunday, the day of the big game. The players arrived early. They were excited. Everyone wanted to play. There were lots of people in the stadium. They waved and cheered when the players walked on to the ground. The referee called the captains to the middle. The referee asked, "Where is the ball?" Nobody answered. All the players looked at the ground. There was no ball. The referee canceled the game.

She traveled 19,586 miles and raised £120,000 for charity. Fiona also wrote a book about her journey called "The Whole Story."
