The interviewer: James, you've had a very successful career as a film (1) ______________.
But tell me, can you remember the very first time you went to the cinema?
James: Oh, yes, very clearly. It was a Saturday morning in 1937. And my parents were
chatting over breakfast about how they'd spent the previous evening. They were talking about

was about five years old, and until that day I had never seen a film. I hadn't even heard of
