VI. Read the following passage carefully (1.5 po)
Country life and city life are not so much different now in Vietnam.
With the national electricity network, every household in remote areas now has the same electrical
appliances for their needs as a family in the city does. At my grandparents' house in Ke Sach, Soc
Trang, they have a rice-cooker and an electric kettle (and a gas oven) for their cooking. As for clothes,
they have a washing machine. No dryer is necessary, because there is plenty of space and sunlight for
line-drying.
With Internet connection reaching all comers of the country, people in the countryside now have many
opportunities to read online news. Also, they can be active in social media like elsewhere.
For their shopping needs, there is at least a department store in every town and comer shops are
everywhere. Also, motorbike sellers serve housewives at their doorstep. If there is something special,
people can go online and the postman will deliver it the next day.
