My house has a perennial peach tree planted in the front yard. Every time Tet comes, spring comes, the faded peach petals bloom in a corner of the sky, adorning the bustling atmosphere of Tet festival.
The peach tree is planted in the land in front of my house. The stem is rough and dark brown like the color of the soil. From the trunk, there are countless branches, the branches are thin, thin. The peach tree is pruned regularly so it looks like a slightly pointed tip. I don't know if it's my grandfather's magic hand that enchants it?. It does not matter if the branches obediently listen to his words grow according to his will. As for the stubborn branches that kept stabbing and growing wild, he used plastic-coated steel to bend and press them into the frame. Therefore, anyone who comes into the house to look at the tree also compliments how beautiful my house is.
Lush green oval peach leaves. The young leaves above are green mixed with pink as if trying to overwhelm that fresh pink color. Each branch stretched out to sprout small flower buds. There are a few red buds rising up to show off their colors in front of them radiating red and pink like pretty fire spots. Some of the other buddies are still shy and still waiting for the opportunity to open their hearts. Golden pistil with tiny pollen grains attracts so many bees and butterflies. The peach tree makes my yard more lively and bustling because of the Tet atmosphere. The peach tree symbolizes Tet in the North. Seeing the tree, Tet atmosphere rushed into people's hearts.
Thank you peach for helping my family bond more while drinking hot tea and enjoying flowers in the chilly early spring.
