My favorite sport is swimming. I started swimming lessons when I was 5 years old. My house doesn’t have a swimming pool, so my dad often takes me to the public swimming pool. A lot of people come here to practice swimming. There are many different forms of swimming such as: crawling, butterfly, breaststroke, etc. I like swimming on my stomach. This is a swimming style using hand thrust. This is one of the more difficult strokes. To swim safely, you need to have specialized swimming equipment such as swimming goggles, swimwear, swimming buoys, swimming hats, earplugs, sunscreen, shampoo. The hardest part of learning to swim is learning to float. In addition, we also need to practice regulating breathing, foot and hand rhythm. Swimming helps us to exercise. Young people can practice swimming to improve their height. Swimming also helps us feel more relaxed. Swimming is suitable for almost all ages. So as long as you like it, you can learn to swim.
