VIII. Correct TEN mistakes
Last year just before Christmas my family and our cousins and uncle and aunt decided going to Perth for holiday. We went
by two cars but when we were about halfway there my uncle wants to turn round and come back. He said it was too farther,
and it was terribly hot, too. One day it was 48°C. Even at the night it was really hot. Anyway, what we decided to do was to
drive back about 160 km to a place where the train went through. Then we put all cars on the train and we all went to Perth
by train. That was fun. It was a good train. We have a good time in Perth but we had to cut our holiday short. You see, while
we were there my grandmother in Melbourne died. Most of we flew back but my Dad and my uncle came on the train with
the cars and then had to drove back to Melbourne from Port Pirie. It was a really strange holiday because nothing goes the
way we planned it.
IX. Rewrite the following, using 2-5 words
1. I got the impression that they weren't enjoying themselves. (seem)→ They.....enjoying themselves.

7. The baby started to cry and nobody knew what to do. (burst)→ The baby..... and nobody knew what to do.
8. You shouldn't trust Peter any more. (to) → .....trust Peter any more.
