I’m going to talk about one of the greatest inventions in humankind, which is probably a smartphone.

My mother bought me an I-phone when I passed the entrance exam with flying colours. As it’s portable, I can put it in my pocket and bring it to anywhere I go. To the best of my knowledge, this brand of smartphone was invented by John Casey, who is a worker from the eminent Apple co-operation.

When it comes to why I-phone becomes a part of my life, there are two main utilities. I could start off by saying that using the mobile phone allows me to keep in touch with my relatives and my friends more easily. I can know what they’re up to by making a call or sending a message. Also, with the Internet connection, I can actually see and talk to them via Facetime irrespective of long distance. Another thing that I want to mention is that there are many applications that come in handy, and they play a vital role in assisting me with enhancing my English skills and vocabularies. Quizlet, for instance, is a popular application that enables me to boost lexical resource by learning new words via flashcards and audio.

To me, I-phone is an indispensableitem. I’m so addicted to using it that I think I can’t live without it.
