The given pie charts provide information about the highest leisure activities performed in the United states in 1999 and 2009. In both years, three activities seemed to be popular among people. First is walking which remained the most performed activity of
a percentage of 29% and 31% in both eras. Similarly , the second highest was soccer which was played by about 17% of people in 1999 and 18% in 2009. The third activity, however , differed between the compared periods, in 1999, aerobics was popular by 9%. Meanwhile, in 2009, swimming appeared more performed by about 18% of people. The remaining activities seemed to follow a transferable trend where yoga was less popular in 1999 but raised notably by 5% in 2009. Comparatively, bicycling and jogging declined by 5% in 2009.
The camping were hardly changed by an increase of 1% in 2009.
Overall, walking and soccer are the most popularactivitiesin both periods. The rest of the leisure practices varied in their percentages between 1999 and 2009weresome showed an increasing trendwhile others showed the opposite.
