An endangered species is a population of an organism who is at risk of
becoming extinct because it is either few in numbers, or threatened by
changed environmental or predation parameters. An endangered species
is usually a taxonomic species, but may be other evolutionary significant
unit, The World Conservation Union (IPCN) has calculated the percent
of endangered species as 40 percent of all organisms based at the
samples of species that have been evaluating through 2006. Many
nations have laws offering protection to this species: for example,
forbidding hunting, restricting land development or create reserves.
Only a few of the many species at risk of extinct actually make it to the
lists and obtain legal protection. Much more species become extinct, or
potential will become extinct, without gaining public notice.

An endangered species is a population of an organism that (là vật,không phải người,không dùng who) is at risk of becoming extinct because it is both few in numbers or threatened by changing environment or predation parameters. An endangered species is usually a taxonomic species, though maybe (cái này là spelling thôi) another evolutionary significant unit. The World Conservation Union has calculated the percentage of endangered species as 40 percent of all organisms based on (base on: dựa trên )the sample of species that have been evaluating through 2006. Many nations have laws offering protection to this species: for example, forbidding hunting, restricting land development or creating preserves. Only a few (Đếm được,không dùng little of ) the many species at risk of extinction (at risk of + noun: có nguy cơ...) actually make it to the lists and obtain legal protection. Much more species become extinct or potentially will become extinct, without gaining public notice.

  1. Line 3: "who is" -> Change to: "that is" (We use "that" for non-human animals)
  2. Line 4: "or threatened by" -> Change to: "or is threatened by" (Add "is" for better subject-verb agreement with "threatened")
  3. Line 5: "changed environmental or predation parameters." -> Change to: "changes in environmental or predation factors." (Replace "parameters" with a more common term "factors")
  4. Line 6: "a taxonomic species" -> Change to: "a recognized taxonomic species" (Add "recognized" for clarity)
  5. Line 7: "The World Conservation Union (IPCN)" -> Change to: "The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)" (Correct the name abbreviation)
  6. Line 8: "percent of endangered species" -> Change to: "percentage of species considered endangered" (More precise wording)
  7. Line 9: "samples of species" -> Change to: "data on species" ("Samples" implies physical specimens, "data" is more appropriate for information)
  8. Line 10: "Many nations have laws offering protection to this species" -> Change to: "Many nations have laws offering protection to endangered species" (Specify the type of species)
  9. Line 11: "forbidding hunting, restricting land development or create reserves." -> Change to: "forbidding hunting, restricting land development, or creating reserves." (Change "or" to "or creating" for parallel sentence structure)
  10. Line 12: "Only a few of the many species at risk of extinct" -> Change to: "Only a few of the many species at risk of extinction" (Correct spelling)
