I've just been back from my vacation in Hanoi, Vietnam. In this trip, I had a chance to visit some (1) long-standing villages that produce the finest craft works exported over the world.
The very first place I (2) set foot on was Van Phuc silk village, the cradle of best silk in Vietnam once. I totally fell in love with many colourful clothes, hats, bags, ties made of authentic silk. Then, I moved on to Bat Trang ceramic village, the most famous and (3) skillful pottery village in Vietnam with a nearly 1,000 years old historic development. Here, I visited a small family factory to see how the (4) artisans form, paint, and glaze unique products and had a chance to practice my talent with wet clay and a mould.
In the afternoon, I continued to visit Dong Ho folk painting village, (5) where the traditional woodblock paintings are preserved. I was completely impressed by the folk paintings made by the local (6) artisans with handmade paper from the Dzo tree and colored with other natural materials, and its glittery surface is finished with oyster shell dust. I took home a lot of handmade (7) souvenirs which were later given to my family and friends.
