My friends . But this is not the typical bad influence topic . My parents would judge my friends , their parents , their home , if they were homeless or had an “ ugly house “ , based on their race , based on their religions / traditions . I obviously always defended them because at the end of the day we’re all equally as bad as each other .

My body . This also isn’t the wearing “ short Stuff “ topic . I started gaining weight recently because of stress eating , spending no time outside exercising, birth control etc . They would always say things like “well if you would’ve stopped your hot as* from having sex you probably would’ve been more loved & less hated , you probably would’ve been skinny / slim” . I didn’t like it and I defended myself by saying things like “ it was my choice and it’s in the past now “ .

Piercings . Now this one might be more familiar . In my opinion , piercings are just piercings , nothing else. ( depends on which ) . I have 4 piercings on my left ear and 3 on my right . Sounds like a lot , yes I know . I wanted a nose piercing for my 15th birthday since I was in the middle of my sophomore year of high school . THEY responded with the answer “ no “ “ you’re always trying to Be like your friends “ etc .

My beliefs . For example , I am bisexual , & often feel like the right to defend my sexuality, even though only some girls I secretly dated actually know about this . Not even my parents . Like they say ‘ god didn’t create two Adams or two Eves ‘ , something I always laugh about because I don’t have a strong belief in God like they do .
