Every summer you come home, there's nothing better than eating a piece of watermelon. Watermelon rind is green with dark green stripes. Cut out a watermelon, which is a berry red with tiny black seeds. Watermelon has a cool sweet taste. It is a great cooling drink for hot summers.

Yesterday I went to the fruit garden of my friends, and it was right in the harvest season of apples. There were countless apples on the trees, each one was about a fist of an adult. I had to say that those apples were really beautiful. They has an reddish and shiny layer of skin outside, but there were also some of them that were still a little bit green. The small brown pedicles help stick the apples to the branches, and the leaves completed the look of a perfect apple. The smell from those apple trees was wonderful. My friend cut open and handed me one, I took one bite of the crunchy and sweet part inside, and I thought it was the best apple that I had ever eaten. Apples from the garden have a different taste than the ones in the markets, and I am so lucky to have a chance to visit that garden.
