Flood is one of the most dangerous natural disasters. It happens when excessive water is collected in any area. It usually happens due to heavy rainfall. Central Vietnam is highly prone to flood, and the people living here have to suffer from a lot of difficulties and losts.  The supply of food and goods also gets limited during floods. Recently, the 2020 Central Vietnam floods have caused mass destruction. In October and early November 2020, central Vietnam got struck by three floods, four storms and a series of landslides that claimed 159 lives and left 71 missing. Not only the government but also many people from various cities did many ways to support Central Vietnam. Some afforestation projects have been carried out to prevent the future damage of flood. Trees absorb and store rainwater, which reduce runoff and sediment deposit after storms. Further, there should be an efficient system for storing excessive water due to rain. I hope in the future, the consequences of flood will be less and less. 

Lũ lụt là một trong những thiên tai nguy hiểm nhất. Nó xảy ra khi lượng nước đọng lại trở nên quá nhiều ở bất kỳ khu vực nào. Nó thường xảy ra do lượng mưa lớn. Miền Trung rất dễ xảy ra lũ lụt, người dân sống ở đây phải chịu rất nhiều thiệt hại và thiếu thốn. Nguồn cung cấp thực phẩm và hàng hóa cũng bị hạn chế trong thời gian lũ lụt. Gần đây, lũ lụt miền Trung năm 2020 đã gây tàn phá rất lớn Vào tháng 10 và đầu tháng 11 năm 2020, miền Trung Việt Nam hứng chịu 3 trận lũ, 4 cơn bão và một loạt vụ sạt lở đất, cướp đi sinh mạng của 159 người và 71 người mất tích. Không chỉ chính quyền mà nhiều người dân từ các thành phố khác đã làm nhiều cách để ủng hộ miền Trung. Một số dự án trồng rừng đã được thực hiện để ngăn chặn những thiệt hại trong tương lai của lũ lụt. Cây cối hấp thụ và lưu trữ nước mưa, giúp giảm lượng nước chảy tràn và lắng đọng trầm tích sau bão. Hơn nữa, cần có một hệ thống hiệu quả để lưu trữ nước do mưa. Tôi hy vọng trong tương lai, hậu quả của lũ lụt sẽ ngày càng ít hơn.
