He worked in England as a businessman and met Thomas's mother there. In 2002, his family moved to Australia. When arrived in Melbourne, he didn't know anybody. He felt lonely. In England he used to have a lot of friends, but now he doesn't have anyone to talk to. He decided to look for friends on the Internet. He was lucky to know Mary and to be one of her friends. He wishes they lived in the same neighborhood so that they could meet and talk every day.
