1/Hung Temple Festival
The festival begins with a palanquin procession performed by three villages of Co Tich, Vi Cuong and Trieu Phu. The procession carries bamboo elephants and wooden horses symbolizing the submission of animals to the Kings Hung and the wedding of the Mountain Genie and Princess Ngoc Hoa. Banh chung (square sticky rice cake) and banh giay (round sticky rice cake) are indispensable offerings in the procession in order to honour the merit of the Kings Hung who taught people to plant rice and to remind people of Lang Lieu who invented these cakes.
The worship service is held on the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month and commences with a flower ceremony with the participation of state representatives. Held in Thuong Temple, where the Kings Hung used to worship deities with full rituals, the ceremony is conducted with the traditional rituals representing the whole nation. During that time, the nha to Do Ngai guild performs singing and dancing to welcome visitors.
The children of the Kings Hung throughout the country converge on the temple to offer incense. The procession includes the state representatives, one hundred young men and women in traditional costumes symbolizing “children of the Dragon and Fairy” and pilgrims.
The procession marches are followed by a Xoan singing performance (a kind of folk song of Vinh – Phu region) in Thuong Temple, ca tru (a kind of classical opera) in Ha Temple, and other activities including bamboo swings, nem con (throwing a sacred ball through the ring), cham thau (beating bronze drum), dam duong (pounding rice).
Hung Temple Festival not only attracts visitors from all over the country because of its special traditional cultural activities, but it is also a sacred trip back in time to the origins of the Vietnamese nation. People usually show their love and pride of their homeland and ancestral land. This religious belief deeply imbedded in the minds of every Vietnamese citizen, regardless of where they originate.

1.Lunar New Year festival
I would like to talk about the Lunar New Year festival, also known as the Tet holiday, which is the occasion expected the most by Vietnamese people every year. The festival usually lasts for around 3-4 days, and it takes place when a new year comes according to the lunar calendar. – The Lunar New Year festival takes place because it is one of the most well-known traditions of Vietnam. Our people have been celebrating this occasion for thousands of years, and although there has been some recent argument about whether we should stop celebrating this festival, I do not think this activity will come to an end soon, at least not in the short term.
– There are some common things that people do during this festival. Perhaps the most important thing is that people who work and study in big cities would go back to their hometown to celebrate the new year with their families and relatives. The new year festival is one of very few occasions that families can gather together, so it is easy to understand why everyone in Vietnam expects this festival so much. Another thing that we usually do is that we give children some “lucky money” with the hope that it will bring fortune to those kids. We also have some other activities such as making “chung” cake, visiting temples and pagodas… and so on.
– The new year festival is so important to me and also to all Vietnamese citizens. The reason is because we get more days off from work and study, and therefore we have more time to spend with our families and our loved ones. It is also a great time to think about what we have done in the previous year, and to make plans for the upcoming year.

Uttarakhand has various hill station which is covered in snow during the winters. In the mid-March when the spring season finally arrives the state tree Rhododendron begins to blossom. To celebrate this new season, new blossom and wishing for a beautiful tomorrow the festival of Phool Dei is celebrated.
Little kids walk around their neighborhood with a plate full of flowers, jaggery, and rice and sprinkle them at the doorsteps of people as a sign of their blessings. While showering their blessings they sing the song:
As a kid, I too have enjoyed this festival. All the kids in our locality would wake up early this day and get ready for school and before the school cab would arrive we walk around singing this song and showering blessings to everyone. As our house was at the top so all the kids came to my house first and then we all went together around the neighborhood. We felt so special this day as people would offer us gifts and presents this day. Also, some of the ladies would cook us breakfast as they knew we would be heading to school right after this. After school got over we again picked up our plates and singing and dancing around we would go to those houses which we left in the morning.
At the end, if the day we would all sit together count the money we got and other presents we received and decided on where to go for the part next weekend. It was our small party where we would get pastries and namkeen and chocolates and have a fun get-together. The rice that was collected from the festival my mom made a sweet dish from it called Sei. It is made of rice, ghee, curd, dry fruits and is the best dessert I have ever eaten.
Well, today is the day when phool Dei is celebrated in Uttarakhand. Though I am away from home I still miss the festival so I decided to write about it on Quora. Wish you all a very happy Phool Dei.

Tell some films which you like best?
______________________
Among all films I have ever seen, I like the movie called Kingsman – The Secret Service. It is a great and wonderful movie. In this film, You can see the wild spy action adventure director Matthew Vaughn has made up, based on the same name comic of Mark Millar. And it sounds like Vaughn already has some big ideas for the sequel. Based upon the Mark Millar’s comic book, Kingsman: The Secret Service will tell the story of a special super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street boy into the ultra-competitive training program of the agency just like a global threat emerges from the special twisted tech genius. If you do not want to loose the best time with the interesting action, you have to turn on your TV and watch Kingsman: The Secret Serivce now.

Nowadays, all of forms of transports, I really like riding a bicycle because I can get many benefits with cycling. In fact, I think the most important benefit of riding a bicycle is that it can help me have a good health, so I always using a bicycle when I want to move from a place to another place in short distances. Furthermore, I can save a lot of money because the price of gas is very expensive for using a motorbike or car. In addition, I can cause a decrease of pollution because cycling is friendly with environment. Also, I do not have to find a place for parking as well because bicycle is small. However, sometimes I will be delay my work or school if I get up lately, it is terrible. Overall, riding a bicycle is very useful for me.
