Hung Kings or Hung Temple festival is a big national festival in Vietnam. Every year, on the 10th of the third lunar month, tens of thousands of people from all over the country go to the Hung Temple to commemorate and pay tribute to the founding of the Hung Kings, the first kings of the nation.
Hung Temple is a famous tourist resort located on Nghia Linh Mountain, Hy Cuong Commune, Phong Chau District, Vinh Phu Province, 100km north of Hanoi. It is an architectural complex consisting of ancient temples, temples and shrines. Due to the changes in history and the harshness of time, the buildings at Hung Temple have been restored and rebuilt many times, most recently in 1922.
