Dear Diary.
We had a football match
today at the city stadium.
Our school against St.
Pete. That was the
semi-final match and we
won! St. Pete was a very
strong team but we were
the winners!
It was so wonderful, I
felt so happy. Actually, I
have never felt this great
before. Do you know why?
I scored three goals!
Three! If you score three
goals in a football match,
it's called a hattrick. I
made a hattrick today.
Mrs King told us that our
school has never won any
footbal prize. What can I say?
We are heroes. We tried so
hard. Last year, there was no
football team. All the players
in our team are new students.
We wanted to have fun, but
we also wanted to win.
