To protect the environment, there are several things that we shouldn't do. First and foremost, we shouldn't litter. Throwing garbage and waste products on the street, in parks or in water bodies not only pollutes the environment but also harms wildlife. We should also avoid using plastic bags, straws, and other single-use plastic products as they take hundreds of years to decompose and cause severe harm to marine life. We shouldn't leave the lights, fans, or any other electrical appliances on when not in use. Overuse of electricity not only leads to wastage of resources but also contributes to greenhouse gas emissions, causing climate change. Lastly, we shouldn't use cars for short distances; instead, we should walk, cycle or use public transportation to reduce air pollution and protect the environment.
