Instructions:
1. In a small bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5 minutes until the mixture becomes frothy.

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil.

3. Mix the ingredients together until a dough forms. You can use a wooden spoon or your hands to knead the dough. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour. If it's too dry, add a bit more water.

4. Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead it for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.

6. Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air. Turn it out onto a floured surface and shape it into a loaf or divide it into smaller portions for individual rolls.

7. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). If you have a baking stone or a baking sheet, place it in the oven to preheat as well.

8. Place the shaped dough onto a greased baking sheet or onto a baking stone if you have one. If you want a crusty bread, you can sprinkle some flour on top or lightly brush the dough with water or olive oil.

9. Bake the bread in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top turns golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

10. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
