Walt Disney
Walt Disney wasn't an actor, yet he won more Academy Awards
than anyone else. Though Walt Disney held many jobs such as
animator, producer, businessman, and more, he was best known as
the father of the world-famous characters such as Mickey Mouse
and the theme park Disneyland.
When Walt Disney was little, he and his four siblings lived on a
farm. During that time, Disney's passion for drawing and art grew.
When Disney was going to enter high school, his family moved to
Chicago. There, he took art and photography classes. He also drew
for the school newspaper before joining the Red Cross in France
when World War I broke out.
After the war, Disney returned to the U.S. and started to work as
an artist. Then, he started his own company but his business didn't
succeed due to the lack of money on early days. After that, he
moved to Hollywood, and together with his brother and a
cartoonist, they began to open Walt Disney Studios. From then on,
famous cartoon characters were born, such as Mickey Mouse,
Donald Duck and more.

The studio went on to make its first long cartoon called
Snow White in 1932. At first, many people laughed at his
idea because no one made a cartoon that long at the time.
In the end, the film was a great success, followed by other
successful cartoons and live-action versions.
As an innovative man, Disney came up with the idea of
creating a theme park based on characters in the movies.
Its name is Disneyland. He also wanted to build an even
larger park called Disney World in Florida. However, he died
before the park opened, and he couldn't be there to witness
its success. Nowadays, along with other Disneylands,
Disney World is one of the most visited parks in the world.
