There are a lot of people in my family since we live with our grandparents, and my favorite member is my grandfather. He is now 81 years old, but he still has a sound mind. His hair is a mixture of black and white colors, and he has a pair of bright grey eyes. There are a lot of wrinkles on his face as well as his hand, but all of them and freckles cannot hide the fact that he seems like a handsome boy when he was young. What he loves to do in his free time is playing Chinese chess and reading books. He even has more friends than me who usually visit and play chess with him. My father is also the one who has to spend his free time to play with grandfather, although sometimes he tries his best to sneak away. I also learn a little bit from him just by sitting aside and watching him competes with others. Whenever there is nobody to play with, he sets up the chess and plays all by himself, and I think it is also how he trains his skills. He has a huge collection of books from East to West. His favorite types of books are ancient poem and stories, books about people’s mind and appearance, and books about chess. I think the reason why his brain is still working well is thanks to his reading habit, and I can learn a lot from him. Sometimes he also comes and visits his other friends, and I love to go out with him. At those times, he will put on his felt hat, a grey vest outside a plain shirt, a pair of brown shoes, and he never forgets his cane. He is such a gentlemen, and ages do not seem to have much effect on him. He teaches me many things about life, general knowledge, and the way to behave with people. I love him very much, and I hope he can lives for a long time.
