Last summer vacation, my parents sent me back to my hometown to stay with my grandparents for a month. After a long school year, summer vacation is the only time I get to be near my grandparents. That's why these are days I can't forget.

My grandparents' house is located next to a big river. The air here is fresh, cool, completely different from the city where I live. I really like living with my grandparents because of the peaceful feeling that my hometown brings. My grandparents' house has a small garden. My grandparents often get up early to take care of each tree in the garden. My grandfather grew large fruit trees such as custard apple, grapefruit, jackfruit, etc. And my grandmother grew green vegetables to eat. In addition, my grandparents also raised a flock of chickens. My grandparents' chicken flock includes big chickens and small chickens, which lay plump eggs every day.

At my grandparents' house, I also have friends the same age. Every day my friends and I play many fun and exciting games. Near my grandparents' house there is a school, in the schoolyard there are many phoenix trees. The red phoenix looks so beautiful. You still often go to the fields to look for notes. People in the countryside are excellent, they know almost everything. They taught me how to catch cicadas, catch dragonflies and also taught me how to make a house out of grass.

A summer month at my grandparents' house passed quickly. I'm looking forward to next summer so I can go back to my hometown to visit my grandparents and experience an interesting summer here.
