  1. Line 0: how → however
Explanation: "how" should be replaced with "however" to correctly link the clauses.

  2. Line 1: which → that
Explanation: Use "that" instead of "which" in restrictive clauses.

  3. Line 2: you mind → your mind
Explanation: "you mind" should be "your mind" for correct possessive form.

  4. Line 3: to prevent you → prevent you
Explanation: Remove "to" to correct the infinitive form.

  5. Line 4: positively → positive
Explanation: Use "positive" instead of "positively" for correct adjective form.

  6. Line 5: you're → you’re
Explanation: "you're" should be "you’re" to use the correct contraction for "you are."

  7. Line 6: careful → carefully
Explanation: Use "carefully" instead of "careful" for correct adverb form.

  8. Line 7: novelist → novelists
Explanation: Use "novelists" (plural) instead of "novelist" (singular) to agree with "many."

  9. Line 8: which → who
Explanation: Use "who" instead of "which" for people.

  10. Line 9: hundred → hundreds
Explanation: Use "hundreds" instead of "hundred" to match "approaching."

  11. Line 10: to a certainly extent → to a certain extent
Explanation: "certainly" should be "certain" for the correct adjective form.

Here’s the corrected passage:

PERSEVERE AND STAY POSITIVE

It can take a long time to become successful in your chosen field, however talented you are. One thing you have to be aware of is that you will face criticism along the way. The world is full of people who would rather say something negative than positive. If you've made up your mind to achieve a certain goal, such as writing a novel, don't let the negative criticism of others prevent you from reaching your target, and let the constructive criticism have a positive effect on your work. If someone tells you’re totally lacking in talent, ignore them. That's negative criticism. If, therefore, someone advises you to revise your work and gives you a good reason for doing so, you should consider their suggestions carefully. There are many film stars who were once out of work. There are many famous novelists who made a complete mess of their first novel -- or who didn't, but had to keep on approaching hundreds of publishers before they could get it published. Being successful does depend on luck, to a certain extent. But things are more likely to turn out well if you persevere and stay positive.
