Hi everyone. I'm writing an essay. Can you help? Here's the essay question: 'The internet has made our lives better. Do you agree or disagree?' What are your experiences of the internet? Do you think the internet helps us make friends, or is it bad for us? Thanks for reading, and for any answers!

IELTS HIGH UP - Introduction Unit 3: The internet and technology
Hanna: Because of the internet, I've now got more than a thousand friends in 76 different countries, from New Zealand to Sri Lanka! I can get in touch with them at any time online, and it's free, too. I think the internet brings the world together. My mother doesn't like the internet, and she says I should spend more time studying - but I like to share my news and photos with other people.
Amman_4: In my opinion, teenagers can't write well anymore. My son spends all his time typing in chat rooms, or texting on his mobile phone. Most teenagers know how to play video games, or write a computer program, but they don't know how to write a sentence of more than 160 characters! I remember when my wife and I were young. We wrote real letters to each other. They were several pages long, too!
Yu_1947: Some people think that the internet is a waste of time and it's only for young people. However, I disagree. It's for everyone. My great-granddaughter was born last year, and she lives 2,000 kilometres away. Her father made a blog and I can go online, and see videos of the baby. It's amazing. When I was a father, 40 years ago, we didn't have anything like that. However, anything is possible now.
Safranbolu: I met someone on a business trip in another city. We decided to exchange email addresses, and wrote to each other every day. Now he is my husband. So, I have to say 'thank you' to the internet. It started our relationship.
