Ex7. Answer these questions.
- Do you get enough sleep? If not, why not?
- Yes, I usually get enough sleep. I aim for around 7-8 hours a night. However, there are times when I might have trouble sleeping due to stress, work deadlines, or late-night activities.
- How do you feel if you don't get enough sleep? What things are more difficult to do?
- When I don't get enough sleep, I feel groggy, irritable, and have difficulty concentrating. Tasks that require focus, such as studying or working on complex projects, become more challenging. I also tend to make more mistakes and have slower reaction times.
- Do you use gadgets such as mobiles late at night? What for? Do you find that they keep you awake?
- Yes, I sometimes use my mobile phone late at night to check emails, browse social media, or watch videos. While I try to limit screen time before bed, it can be difficult to resist the temptation. I do find that the blue light emitted from screens can make it harder to fall asleep.
- When are you most alert? Are you a 'lark, an 'owl’, or in between the two? Explain your answer.
- I'm more of an "owl." I tend to feel most alert and productive in the evening and at night. I find it difficult to wake up early in the morning and often need some time to get going. However, I can also be productive during the day if I've had a good night's sleep.
