I have my own room since I was in 6th grade, and I would love to return to my room after a long and tired day. At first my parents decorated my room in a very simple way; they painted the walls in a clean color of white and did not place much furniture in the room. A few years later when I was a little older, I started to pay more attention to it, and now it has become a place which has a lot of my personal signs. I paint the walls in light pink, and I hang some family photos so the walls are not too empty. The monotonous bed was renewed by me; I replaced the entire bed with a new outfit that featured my favorite cartoon characters such as Sailor Moon, Doraemon and Totoro. My bed is not too wide, but I still make room for a lot of stuffed animals and pillows. They are all my best friends, and I will not be able to sleep if one of them is not present. Next to the bed is a tall pink wardrobe, there is a mirror on the front door so I can look at myself every time I get dress. In the corner of the room is a pretty desk which my dad made for me. It is white, and it also has the bookcase as well as some drawers with lockers so that I can comfortably store my personal belongings. In addition to the wooden chair which I usually use to study, there are also several small couches in the room for me to seat on while reading books or listening to music. There are also a lot of nonsense things in my room, but basically this room has everything I need. This room is like my own secret cave, and I will always preserve it in the best condition.Dịch:

My parents often say that my room is the messiest place in the house, but it is also my favorite spot. I do not have too many personal belongings, almost everything in the room is bought by my parents and I always feel satisfied about them. The walls in the room were painted a bright white color, and my mother always complains and makes me clean whenever there was dirt or stain on them. In the middle of the room was a single bed with light blue sheet, above the wall behind the bed was a large poster of the movie Star Wars - my favorite movie. Next to the door is the study table and also where I put the computer, on the shelf there are a lot of science fiction films as well as video game discs beside all of my textbooks. There are also a number of aircraft and car models on my desk since I have a hobby of collecting models. In the corner of the room is a small wardrobe, I do not have too much clothes so that is where I put my backpack, bags as well as many other things. Next to the wardrobe is the bathroom, and I feel that putting the bathroom in the room is a smart decision. I do not have a mirror in my room because I have no need to look at myself, and I choose to hang the posters of my favorite movies on every empty space on the wall instead of a mirror. Although the room seems simple and not always in a neat condition, it is still the place I was looking forward to returning after a long and tired day.

My house has many different rooms such as bed rooms, living room, bathrooms etc, but kitchen is my favorite place. Although it is just a small place without many decorative things, it brings a lot of delicious dishes to our family. My mother arranges and keeps everything very tidily; and she does not let anybody clean her kitchen because she says that person will mess up her things. Although it does not have many things, we always need my mother’s help to search for what we need. There is a cupboard on the wall where she stores the bowls, dishes, spices, and other kitchen utensils. The walls are painted in a dark color so the stains are not visible. The kitchen table is built from concrete so it is very stable, and we can put heavy things on it. There are an oven and a cooker on top of it. I love when my mother bake cake or roast the meat in the oven, because the smell of them is very wonderful and can make us become hungry immediately. The cooker can be used to cook two dishes at the same time, and we use the gas cooker instead of electronic one. However, gasoline becomes more and more expensive, so we are planning to buy and electronic cooker soon. Next to it is a sink to washes the dishes, vegetable and other ingredients and a refrigerator. In the corner of the room is a washing machine and a small cabinet to store some other stuff such as the washing powder and dirty clothes. Next to it is a window to make the kitchen brighter and more spacious, and we can see the view of our garden from that window. That is the place where our family can have many delicious foods, so I like it’s existence very much.

There are five rooms in my house, two bedrooms, one living room, one bathroom and one kitchen. It is largest room because it is combined with the dining room. We have a simple partition to separate the two rooms; and they can look more spacious this way. The walls are painted in cream color so it can be brighter, and the cook can also feel comfortable when standing in there. My mother has a big love to do shopping for the kitchen utensil and equipment, so there are many things in our kitchen. There are a cooker, a microwave, an oven, a freezer, several kinds of spices that I cannot name, bowls and dishes with different models, and many other small tools for cooking. We have some strange things such as the potato crusher, cake cutter, spoons in animal figures, and colorful ladles. All of them are stored in a huge cupboard on the wall, and I always have a fear of it collapsing because of that big amounts of things. Above the cooker is a smoke - consumer so the air in the kitchen is always fresh and clean. The corner of the room is used to place heavy equipment such as the freezer, washing machine and the oven. The electronic bill of our family is always high because of them, but they can help us a lot in the house chores. What I find missing in our kitchen is a dishwasher; since I am always the one who clean the dishes after dinner. I intend to persuade my mother to buy one, and the it is truly the most ideal place in the house. Our kitchen is the warmest place in our house which is filled with happiness and delicious food, so I will always keep it tidy and clean.

I live in a pretty big house in the countryside since we also live with our grandparents, and the biggest as well as the most beautiful room in our house is the living room. We have a tradition to visit others house in our free times, so the living is specialized to welcome our guests. We do not put the TV, loud speakers or the DVD player there, because that is the space for us to talk to each other. At the end of the room, we put a big altar which is used to worship our ancestors. My mother takes a very good care of it since she changes the water and incenses every day. My father installs some lights to make it brighter and warmer. In the middle of the room is a couch which made from wood. It is beautifully carved into a dragon which the body is the back, the head is the place to rest our heads, and the claws are the four legs of the couch. The table surface is decorated with conch, and it makes the complete look to not look too heavy. On the table are a big flower vase and a set of tea pot and cups, which is used to serve the best tea to our guests. There is a big window behind the couch, and it gives the room plenty sources of light. The curtains are in light green color, and go very well with the dark green paint of the walls. On the walls are some of our family pictures as well as some pieces of my grandfather’s calligraphy. He has the ability to write Chinese and Vietnamese words in a very beautiful way, so we frame some of his works and put them on the walls. It can be said that the living room represent the whole family, so we always try to take a very good care of it.

I live in a big city, and my house is not very big since there are only rich people who can afford to live in a spacious house. Every room in my house is just enough for our activities, so we do not have much space for the living room. However, we try our best to decorate it because it is where the whole family gathers after a long day staying outside. We lay down a thick rug on the floor, it both helps to decorate and keep the floor safe from the scratches. To save some space, we put the TV and the loud speakers on the wall. The Play Station, DVD player and other electronic devices are put in a small cabinet in the corner of the room, and we only take them out whenever we want to play something. In the middle of the room is a glass table, we put on the surface a bottle of fresh water and some cups so everyone can have a quick drink before leaving or after coming back to the house. Behind the table is a big white couch, and it can be considered as the biggest thing in the living room. My mother loves the pastel tone, so the walls are painted in cream color; and they all go very well with the couch. We do not have any window there, so we install an air conditioner to keep the atmosphere cool. We hang some pictures of landscape as well as painting on the walls to make the room livelier. There are also a pot of a small plant in the corner of the room, so we can get some fresh air from it. Every night, we would gather to watch TV or sing karaoke, and it is my favorite time of the day. Although the living room is no too big, our family will always have good times there together.
