My leisure activity is reading. I like reading because it is a hobby that is useful and interesting: useful because you can find a lot of knowledge of all areas that you need; interesting because the books can give you the joy and help you relax after a hard working day etc... Especially, when you join the forum, you can meet a lot of people who have interests similar to yours, comment on the books or novels that interest you. My love for books started at the age of ten years old. I was awarded "The Scarlet Sails" of Alexandre Green by my grandfather. It is the first book that I have seen. I do not know how many times I read it (Up to now, I still love it and occasionally read it again). I always hope that I will have my own library in the future. I love books very much and perhaps, I couldn't live without them.

As a secondary student in Viet Nam, we have to go to school 6 days a week, so I have quite a little free time. First of course, in my free time, I like playing sports, especially some outdoor sports like basketball or football, with my friends. Playing sports will help you have a healthy heart and connect people. Besides, when I have more free time, I would be happy to go on a picnic. One thing I really like about picnics is fishing. You can relax and mingle with nature. If the weather is not good for hanging out, I just spend all day long at home playing video games. That is how I spend my free time, what's yours?  

In my free time, I love to relax myself by listening to music and watching my favorite films. I study all days, so after 7PM is the only time that I can use for myself. I have a smartphone, so I can download a lot of songs from the Internet for free, and I usually listen to them with my headphones. If noone is at home, I will turn on the loudspeakers to have the best experience with music, but most of the time I only listen to music with headphones. Besides music, movies are my second biggest love. When I am not listening to the songs, I turn on my computer and watch some of the latest movies on the websites. Since most of the best films are from Europe and America, this is also a way for me to improve my English skills. I usually do not use the subtitle, and I try to hear directly what the actors are saying. My parents want me to read books to learn even in my free time, but I think I should do what I actually love to make myself comfortable.

This is the beginning of the second semester, so I am starting to have less time for myself. What I do during the day is studying, so I have very little time to relax and do whatever I like. What I love to do in my free time is drawing, reading books, and watching TV. I have a notebook that is full of my drawings, and I do not allow anyone to open it up. Making outline of something in my imagination is a good way for me to relieve stress, and I love to look at them as my masterpieces after a long time. When I am out of ideas to draw, I choose to read books to be creative. Reading is also a method to ease my nerves and help me to escape this tired world, so I always have at least one book to read in any time. Finally, when my eyes cannot look at more tiny words, I turn on the TV to see the colorful images and people. Watching TV does not require me to pay much attention, and sometimes I just sit there in front of the screen without actually know what show is going on. Having free time for myself is great, and I treasure those moment a lot.

My favorite things to do in my free time is hanging out with my friends and playing sports. I am a very outgoing person, so I love to meet and have relaxing times with my friends at the weekend. We usually sit at a coffee shop to chat about our week, or we sometimes go shopping to buy some foods and then cook at one of our houses. Those times are when I feel comfortable to talk about myself, and it really helps me to relieve the pressure from the work over the entire week. When all of my friends are busy, I choose to go to the park and play some sports such as badminton and shuttlecock kicking. There are always people that want to play with me, so I do not need a partner whenever I want to play sports. Besides, I also go to the pool to have some fun under the water, and I am pretty good at swimming. A week for me is so long, but thinking of the free and good time to do whatever I like on Saturday and Sunday give me more strength and energy to finish it.

After the stressful hours at school, some of the spare time at the end of the day is the time I spend to do what I like. Usually I would choose to listen to music. When I am in sad moods I hear soft ballads. In happy times I listen to Pop music in order to dance to the catchy tunes. When I have to deal with stressful issues, I listen to classical music to ease my nerves. Besides listening to music, reading and writing are some of the things that I love to do every time I have free time. I do not limit the genres of stories that I choose to read, I can read from comics, horror to science fiction as long as I find it interesting. Thanks to reading a lot of books, my writing skills have improved a lot, and my vocabulary has also become richer. Whenever I have ideas, I often turn my thoughts into stories. I write about a lot of things, from the realistic life around me, the additional details in my favorite books to what I imagine. At first I wrote stories only for some of my close friends to read, but they suggested that I should post them on the blogs so people could read and leave comments. Those compliments and comments made me feel very happy and proud of myself. I sometimes go out with my friends, and we like to go to many beautiful places to take pictures. We also love to go to the cinema together to watch the latest films, and then we go shopping or eat together. Those relaxing times add energy so I can start my other work efficiently. It is so great that I can do whatever I want, as long as I do not bother anyone.
