1. Không dùng BY+AGENT khi chủ ngữ của câu chủ động là đại từ bất định (someon
các đại từ nhân xưng: I, We, You , They, ... và từ “people".
2. Trạng từ chỉ nơi chốn đặt trước BY.
3. Trạng từ chỉ thời gian đặt sau BY.
Eg : The police found him in the forest yesterday
→ He was found in the forest by the police yesterday.
4. Trang từ chỉ thể cách đứng trước P.P.
Eg. Everybody knows this fact very well.
- This fact is very well known.
