Boat racing festival is our traditional festival on the annual Hung Vuong death anniversary. Luckily, I had the opportunity to admire this bustling festival on a trip with my family.
The festival started on a beautiful sunny day. The race is held in a relatively long river section, enough for the race to be the most convenient. There were many boats joining, there were yellow ones, there were red and blue ones. Each team has 12 people, and depending on their preference they wear different colors for the audience as well as the referee to easily distinguish. It was not time to play but the audience was standing on both sides of the river. Everyone cheered for the team I liked the most. The air is extremely hot. When the referee's whistle sounded, the red flag flew, signaling the teams to play, the competition started, all the teams tried to steer their boats as quickly as possible. The boys were strong and strong, all of them were upright, cross-crossing the boat that fluttered on the surface of the water, cheering for everyone's cheers.
Teams sticking to each other without leaving, no one gives up, everyone wants to win for their team. I feel very excited when I look at the exciting teams, trying every minute to pass and win. The surrounding atmosphere was very excited, the cheers were everywhere. The race ended with the red team's effort winning. Although the other teams lost but also consoled themselves and congratulated the victory of the team. What a beautiful fighting spirit, not jealousy. Because maybe they know they have done their best. This extreme does not win the race, but it has won the victory for every human being on the boat.
Boat racing is an extremely fun festival. I hope that this festival will be kept until tomorrow.
