Tet is a traditional holiday of our country VN.
The season of Tet occurs around the beginning of February and end of January. The meaning of Tet is ending old year and welcome a new year. Tet hoiliday is very special of Vietnamese families to reunite. At that time, all family members try to come back their homes and get together to prepare for.Moreover they will buy new clothes and clean, decorate their house. A branch of Mai flower or a branch of Peach Blossom. They bring a fresh atmosphere the house. We decorate ancestral alart with a tra full of fruits, flowers, and indespensable as Chung cake and Tet Cake.
Some typical Tet's food such as sweets, coconut jam, candied fruits, melon seeds, ginger jam, spring rolls,... A special food can not absent is sticky " Chung or Tet Cake". They are our country is traditional food on Tet holiday. Tet meal is more delicios than our everyday.
On Tet hoilday, people have many typical activities. People take part in the traditional games: lion dance, sailing, wrestling festival in Thu Le Village. Many people visit realatives to wish a happy new year. The people will give lucky money to children. Women who like to go to the temple to wish for good things will come to their families or see fortune telling.
In my opinon, i like cozy anf fresh Tet atmosphere. All member of family talk together about a happy new year. I can hang out with my friend and don't worry aboout anything. But I don't like hot weather. It be made me uncomfortable and i don't want to go anywhere.
Tet holiday is always in Vietnamese's heart.
