New Zealand is situated southeast of Australia and consists of two large islands: North Island and South Island.

the first country in the world in 1893 to give women the right to vote. The capital is Wellington. The two other
major cities are Auckland and Christchurch,
The Maoris are the indigenous inhabitants and New Zealanders are sometimes called Kiwis. The landscape
is hilly and picturesque with rocks, volcanoes, hot springs, mud pools and geysers. The characteristics of New
zealand are evergreen forest with a warm climate, This country is well known for its vast numbers of sheep and
export of meat and wool. In New Zealand you can find unique kinds of plants and animals, which do not grow
and do not live anywhere else in the world.
