MATT' S BIRTHDAY PARTY
It (15) ……was…… Matt's birthday party last Monday. He is my best friend. After school we went to his house and we had a fantastic party there and we played a lot of games. When we were tired and very (16) ……hungry…, his mum prepared some delicious food. We ate sandwiches, cakes, crisps, olives, nuts and a fantastic birthday cake. We drank some water, milk and of course fizzy drinks. When we finished the party Matt gave us a present. It was a bag full of sweets. I was very happy. When I (17) ……went……….. home, my mum was very busy and I helped her in the kitchen. I told her (18) ……about…….. the party and we laughed a lot. After that we were very tired and we go to bed because we had to get up early to go to school the following day. I prefer birthday parties (19) ……at………. the weekend because you have much more time to sleep on Sunday.
