I believe that each country in the world have its own custom 's cloth. Similarly with Vietnamese people, the own tradition 's cloth is The Ao dai. Nowadays, a lot of people think that women shouldn't wear the Ao dai at work. In my point of view, I fairly agree with this opinion for several reasons.
First of all , wearing the ao dai makes vietnamese women more uncomfortable because it consists of a long silk tunic that is slit on the sides and wear over a silk pants. It is also very unconvenient and difficult for women to wear the Ao dai at work since they aren't unable to move freely. When they are working, they have to stand up then sit down, go back and forth, or even run because of the necessary work. Today, there are a lot of fashionable shirt with beautiful dresses, skirts, T-shirts, jeans,... etc. Women is more modern and they like to be more beautiful with these beautiful modern clothes.
Besides that, the modern clothes make women feel more comfortable, confident and convenient because they can wear their favourite clothes with their favorite color, their suitable shape, size. Their mood is better so that they can work more effectively.
Moreover, can you imagine what happens when the weather is very hot or extremely cold. It's so terrible that we are all afraid. It's better if you are the workers in the companies, shops, or offical buildings. Let put you in the farmer's situation, can you continue working while the weather llike that. I think you and everyone also answer like that : " No, I can't. " and so do I . But if you wear the modern clothes, this problem will be solved. For example, when the weather is hot, you can wear shirt or T- shirt with jeans or even wear skirt with T-shirt,... or something you like and it is suitable for your job. When the weather is cold you can wear tights, sweater with wear coat or leather jacket, you can also wear socks with sneakers and gloves to keep your body warmer.
In short, Vietnamese women shouldn't wear the Ao dai daily at work for some reasons that I have mentioned above.
