More than Michelin Stars
Being a chef wasn't Gordon Ramsay's dream job when he
was a teenager. He wanted to be a football player and in
fact, he played for a professional football club for three
years. A serious knee injury ended his dream of becoming a
football player. The injury, however, led him to a new path -
becoming a chef.
Gordon Ramsay took things step by step to become a
famous chef. After leaving the football club, he went back
to college to finish the course of hotel management. Thanks
to his talent, Ramsay then was trained by the world's
leading chefs. This was a precious chance that helped him
upgrade his culinary skills.
Gordon Ramsay has restaurants in many countries. Most of
his restaurants have received Michelin stars and are visited
by gourmets all over the world. His first restaurant named
Gordon Ramsay has been rated three stars since 2001.
