I am going to talk about Adele, a renownedsinger, and songwriter. Recently she has released her fourth album, “30”, which has topped the charts in many countries. Although “30” is not as popular in Vietnam as in other nations, I and my friends think it is successful both musically and emotionally.

I have known Adele since her debut album, 19, which came out over a decade ago. Back then, as a student, I found her lyrics complicated to comprehend. However, I still adored her because of her voice and the way she sings. My gut feeling was that this woman would soon become one of the most respected artists of our generation. Now, looking back, I know my instinctwas somehow right.

To be honest, I have not always been a huge fan. Not until recent years did I start to listen to Adele again. I guess it is because the older we get, the easier for us to get her lyrical expression. Also, by reading the news and watching interviews about her, I have learned that she is an introvert who is inclined to protect her privacy. Knowing this, I was shocked when learning Adele chose to dedicatethe whole of her latest album to her divorce, an event that most people would avoid talking about publicly.

Speaking of Adele’s most recent album, “30” has gained a reputation as a collection of honest, intimate, and heartbreaking tracks about Adele’s failed marriage, yet to me, it is more about how she turns her heartache into an optimisticjourney as the final song of the album was about self-love and hope. I believe this is such a powerful message and Adele’s “30” should be listened to by everyone no matter if they are going through some hardships or not.
