During Tet, Vietnamese people thoroughly clean their houses to sweep away bad luck and make way for good fortune. They decorate their homes with colorful flowers like peach blossoms and kumquat trees. Families gather to pay respects to their ancestors, exchange wishes for prosperity, and enjoy special Tet foods such as banh chung (sticky rice cake) and pickled vegetables.

Tet is not only a time for joyful festivities but also holds deep cultural and spiritual significance, reflecting Vietnam's rich traditions and values of respect for ancestors and community unity.
