Sometimes people steal the strangest things. For example, did you hear about the robbers who stole the ice cream? The burglary took place at Emack & Bolio's Ice Cream and Yoghurt shop in Pittsburgh, USA. No money was stolen - just 850 litres of ice cream worth about 15,000 dollars.
Pete Zafris, the shop owner, said that when the building was built, the builders had concluded putting in a burglar alarm, but he thought it was unlikely that someone would steal the ice cream! According to Zafris, there was no evidence that his shop was broken into. There was no damage to the windows or doors. Because of this, Zafris suggested that the burglars probably had a key.
The ice cream company has quite a few shops throughout the USA, but this was the first time that ice cream had been taken and not money.
