My favorite dish is pho, a Vietnamese noodle soup. Pho originates from Hanoi and is now a popular dish throughout Vietnam. The main ingredients of pho include rice noodles, thinly sliced beef, green onions, onions, herbs, and broth. To cook pho, you first need to boil the bones until they are tender to make a flavorful broth. Then, blanch the rice noodles in boiling water until they are soft. When serving, pour the hot broth into a bowl, top with the rice noodles, then add the beef, green onions, onions, and herbs. Finally, you can add some pepper and chili according to your taste. It usually takes me about 30 minutes to cook a bowl of pho. Pho has a sweet and savory flavor from the broth, the aroma of green onions, the richness of the beef, and the spiciness of the chili. I love eating pho because it is not only delicious but also very comforting, especially on cold days.
